I am a twenty-one year old from the District of Columbia and an art history major at Columbia University in New York City. My work is both film and digital. Photography is, for me, about Henri Cartier-Bresson's "defining moment." As he writes, a photograph is the "simultaneous recognition in a fraction of a second of the significance of an event as well as of a precise organization of forms."
